We at Mandate believe that everybody can succeed in life at different levels and at different rates when equal or similar opportunities are present, and in some cases when extra miles can be granted to students by education providers.
As the popular saying “doing the same thing always and yet expecting different outcomes is insanity” suggests, it seems exactly what the case is for most students, mainly the youth and the educational systems we have, especially in Africa.
For many years the educational system has been beneficial and powerful in producing leaders and workforce for achieving sustainability initiatives. But has also created a great vacuum that needs to be looked at and filled; and that’s what Mandate Institute seeks to solve. The traditional education system obviously is focused on raising employees than employers. Thousands graduate from college yearly with little or no hope of getting jobs.
